Alithea's Book Report - 11-03-2014 - Little Women

Little Women was written in 1868. It was written by Louisa May Alcott. The main characters were Margaret or Meg for short, Josephine whose nickname is Jo, Elisabeth or Beth and finally, Amy. They were all sisters. The story took place in America. One day, during Christmas, a person named Mr. Laurence sent them a scrumptious dinner at their house. His grandchild Laurie became their friend.  Mr. March was not well because of an injury he got at war. His condition got worse so Mrs. March went to Mr. March as soon as possible. Then, Mr. Brooke, Mr. Laurence and Hannah ( their maid ) were left in charge of the house. Soon  after Mrs. March left, Beth got scarlet fever. Laurie  sent a telegram to tell Mrs. March that Beth got sick. After that, Amy went to live with her aunt because her aunt was too old and needed help in the house. After a while, Beth got better.
